Skövde KIK

Skövde KIK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Skövde KIK, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Skövde KIK could be found in Group 6 together with Northern Redbacks Womens SC, Scandia United SA and Tranås FF. Skövde KIK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Rosengård with 1-3. In the Final, Lerums IS won over Viborg Q and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Skövde KIK comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Tidaholms GIF, IFK Skövde, IFK Skövde FK, Skultorps IF, Falköpings KIK, Våmbs IF, IFK Tidaholm, Skövde AIK and IFK Falköping FF).
