Fylkir

Fylkir was one of 10 clubs from Iceland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Fylkir, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Fylkir could be found in Group 15 together with Furulunds IK, Stabæk Fotball and Högbo AIK. Fylkir continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kragerø IF with 1-3. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Fylkir also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against Lambertseter IF with 0-2. The area around does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Einherji, Stjarnan, Breidablik, RKV, FH, Keflavik, KA, FC KR and Volsungur).
