CCL Soccer Club

CCL Soccer Club was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). In addition to CCL Soccer Club, 24 other teams from 10 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof CCL Soccer Club could be found in Group 2 together with Audax, GIF Sundsvall and BK Häcken. CCL Soccer Club continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-1. In the Final, IK Sirius FK won over Halmstads BK and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). CCL Soccer Club also participated in Gothia Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in B17E Play off B, but lost it against ACBB Paris with 1-3. CCL Soccer comes from Roanoke which lies approximately 6700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than CCL Soccer Club, the club VBR Star does also originate from the area around Roanoke.
