C.F Internacional Monterrey

C.F Internacional Monterrey was one of 15 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to C.F Internacional Monterrey, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof C.F Internacional Monterrey could be found in Group 17 together with Upsala IF, Salam FC and IK Grand Bodø. C.F Internacional Monterrey continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Guernsey Schools with 1-3. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over SKF Latvia and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. C.F Internacional Monterrey comes from MONTERREY which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MONTERREY does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Bosque, Mexcales F.C, Santos Laguna CDMX, SLD Queretaro, Intercups MX, Privado San Javier, Colegio Aleman, Ibero Sport Mexico FC, CIFU and Academy Elite).
