Strindheim IL

Strindheim IL was one of 61 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Strindheim IL, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Strindheim IL could be found in Group 24 together with Kharis Sports Academy, Rahlstedter, SC 2, IFK Östersund and Sleipner, IK. Strindheim IL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Tidaholms GIF with 2-4. In the Final, Sävedalens IF won over Tidaholms GIF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Strindheim comes from Trondheim which lies approximately 640 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trondheim does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Gauldal Fotballklubb, Nardo FK and Gimse IL).
