SLD Queretaro

SLD Queretaro was one of 15 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to SLD Queretaro, 173 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof SLD Queretaro could be found in Group 17 together with Nordhordland BK 2, EAST GRINSTEAD TOWN FC and IF Brommapojkarna 4. SLD Queretaro continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skiljebo SK 2 with 3-4. In the Final, Toledo Celtics won over Phoenix Football Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. SLD Queretaro comes from QUERETARO which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around QUERETARO does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Bosque, Mexcales F.C, Santos Laguna CDMX, Intercups MX, Privado San Javier, Colegio Aleman, Ibero Sport Mexico FC, CIFU, Academy Elite and Club Reforma).
