Sölvesborgs GIF

Sölvesborgs GIF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sölvesborgs GIF, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Sölvesborgs GIF could be found in Group 1 together with IK Kongahälla, Aalborg Chang and IFK Eskilstuna 1. Sölvesborgs GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Phoenix Football Academy with 0-2. In the Final, DJK Arminia Eilendorf won over Helium FA and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Sölvesborgs GIF comes from Sölvesborg which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sölvesborg does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Åhus IF, Kristianstad FC, Asarums IF/FK, Åhus Horna BK and Kristianstads DFF).
