Varbergs BoIS FC

In addition to Varbergs BoIS FC, 31 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Varbergs BoIS FC could be found in Group 2 together with IK Sirius FK, Jönköpings Södra IF and AIK FF. Varbergs BoIS FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Örgryte IS with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Värnamo won over Örgryte IS and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. Varbergs BoIS FC also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in SEF Play off B, but lost it against Jönköpings Södra IF with 3-5.
