Vasalunds IF

Vasalunds IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Vasalunds IF, 31 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Vasalunds IF could be found in Group 8 together with Falkenbergs FF, BK Häcken and Norrby IF. Vasalunds IF also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in SEF Play off A, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-3. Vasalunds comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 51 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Danderyds SK, Tyresö FF, IFK Österåker, Gustavsbergs IF, Boo FF, IFK Haninge, Älvsjö AIK FF, BK Sport Mix and Vasastan BK).
