IF Böljan

IF Böljan was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IF Böljan, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof IF Böljan could be found in Group 5 together with Valbo FF, FC Rosengård and Walddörfer SV. IF Böljan continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK with 0-3. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Böljan comes from Falkenberg which lies approximately 100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falkenberg does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Skrea IF, BK Astrio, Halmstads BK, Varbergs BoIS FC, HGH Halmstad, IS Halmia and Falkenbergs FF).
