Peamount United F.C.

Peamount United F.C. was one of four clubs from the Republic of Ireland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Peamount United F.C., 110 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Peamount United F.C. could be found in Group 6 together with Sandåkerns SK, Älta IF and Lindsdals IF. Peamount United F.C. continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IF Böljan with 4-6. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Peamount United F.C. comes from Dublin which lies approximately 1300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dublin does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Frankfort FC, Phoenix Football Club and Newbridge Town).
