Gammelstads IF

Gammelstads IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Gammelstads IF, 94 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Gammelstads IF could be found in Group 18 together with Skultorps IF, Kärra KIF and Breidablik 2. Gammelstads IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Färjestadens GoIF with 1-3. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over Rynninge IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Gammelstads comes from Gammelstad which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gammelstad does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Sunderby SK, Bergnäsets AIK, Alviks IK, Lira BK, Hedens IF, FC Luleå/IFK Luleå, Rutviks SK, FC Norrsken and IFK Luleå).
