Högsby IK

Högsby IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Högsby IK, 154 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof Högsby IK could be found in Group 34 together with Foxes FC, Hovås-Billdal IF 1 and Lillestrøm SK 2. Högsby IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against MTV Gifhorn with 1-7. In the Final, BK Häcken 1 won over Russell Martin Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Högsby IK also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/32 Final in B12 Play off B, but lost it against Torna Hällestad IF with 0-4. Högsby comes from Högsby which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Högsby does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Mönsterås GoIF, Rödsle BK and Oskarshamns AIK).
