Kungsängens IF

Kungsängens IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Kungsängens IF, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Kungsängens IF could be found in Group 53 together with Thai Spirit FC, Skene/Örby/Svansjö and Nesodden IF 1. Kungsängens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 53. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sjömarken/Sandareds IF with 3-4. In the Final, DJK Arminia Eilendorf won over Helium FA and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Kungsängens comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 52 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Danderyds SK, Tyresö FF, IFK Österåker, Gustavsbergs IF, Boo FF, IFK Haninge, Älvsjö AIK FF, BK Sport Mix and Vasastan BK).
