Subiaco AFC

Subiaco AFC was one of two clubs from Australia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Subiaco AFC, 221 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Subiaco AFC could be found in Group 25 together with Sartrouville FC, Norrala IF 2 and Orust FC. Subiaco AFC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Jonsereds IF with 0-4. In the Final, Stjarnan 1 won over IFK Haninge and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Subiaco AFC comes from Perth which lies approximately 14000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Subiaco AFC, the club Northern Redbacks Womens SC does also originate from the area around Perth.
