Vinslövs IF

Vinslövs IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Vinslövs IF, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Vinslövs IF could be found in Group 10 together with NSA, TGK Worcestershire and IK Östria Lambohov. Vinslövs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 0-1. In the Final, Lerums IS won over Viborg Q and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Vinslövs IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the final in Play off B, but lost it against Glumslövs FF with 0-8 and ended up in second place. Vinslövs comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vinslöv does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (IFK Osby, Hässleholms IF, Vankiva IF, Åhus IF, Kristianstad FC, Wisseltofta IF, IFK Hässleholm, Hörby FF, Åhus Horna BK and Kristianstads DFF).
