Nyköpings BIS

Nyköpings BIS was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Nyköpings BIS, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Nyköpings BIS could be found in Group 21 together with Medkila IL, BV Werther and Ås IF. Nyköpings BIS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-4. In the Final, Lerums IS won over Viborg Q and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Nyköpings BIS comes from Nyköping which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nyköping does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (IFK Nyköping and Trosa-Vagnhärad SK).
