Reinen IL

Reinen IL was one of 61 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Reinen IL, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Reinen IL could be found in Group 24 together with Älvsborg FF, Stars'n Stripes and Ordin FC. Reinen IL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lerums IS with 0-1. In the Final, Phoenix Football Club won over Beirut FAC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Reinen comes from Tromsø which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tromsø does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Fløya IF, IL Ulfstind, Tromsø IL and IF Skarp).
