Mexcales F.C

Mexcales F.C was one of 15 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Mexcales F.C, 173 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Mexcales F.C could be found in Group 25 together with Solängens BK, IK Östria Lambohov and Prep Schools Lions Orange. Mexcales F.C continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ellicott City SC B with 1-2. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over CD Inter Vista Alegre and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Mexcales F.C comes from MEXICO which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MEXICO does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Bosque, Santos Laguna CDMX, SLD Queretaro, Intercups MX, Privado San Javier, Colegio Aleman, Ibero Sport Mexico FC, CIFU, Academy Elite and Club Reforma).
