Knivsta IK

Knivsta IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Knivsta IK, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Knivsta IK could be found in Group 22 together with Adolfsbergs IK, IF Kilkameratene and Vänersborgs FK. Knivsta IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg with 0-6. In the Final, Lerums IS won over Viborg Q and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Knivsta comes from Knivsta which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Knivsta does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Alsike IF, Bälinge IF, Håbo FF, Upsala IF, Gamla Upsala SK, Vaksala SK, Rasbo IK, IK Sirius FK, Unik FK and Dalkurd FF).
