Galaxy Football Club

Galaxy Football Club was one of two clubs from Algeria that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Galaxy Football Club, 173 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Galaxy Football Club could be found in Group 42 together with IFK Nyköping, InterClubes, FC Bellevue and Kungsbacka IF. Galaxy Football Club continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Toledo Celtics won over Phoenix Football Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Galaxy Football comes from Alger which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Galaxy Football Club, the club AC Bouarfa does also originate from the area around Alger.
