Alviks IK

Alviks IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Alviks IK, 53 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Alviks IK could be found in Group 9 together with Uppåkra IF, CDA Slammers FC South Bay, Sävedalens IF and Stjarnan. Alviks IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Onsala BK with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Fjärås won over Walddörfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Alviks comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Sunderby SK, Bergnäsets AIK, Lira BK, Hedens IF, FC Luleå/IFK Luleå, IBFF, Gammelstads IF, Rutviks SK, FC Norrsken and IFK Luleå).
