University of Pretoria FC

University of Pretoria FC was one of 11 clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to University of Pretoria FC, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof University of Pretoria FC could be found in Group 19 together with TSV Brokstedt, SoCal United and GAIS. University of Pretoria FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 1-2. In the Final, Sävedalens IF won over Tidaholms GIF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. University of Pretoria FC also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against Örgryte IS with 0-4. The area around does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (University of Pretoria and Football Experience).
