Tierps IF

Tierps IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Tierps IF, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Tierps IF could be found in Group 8 together with Hertzöga BK, Lillehammer KFK and Intercups MX. Tierps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Stocksund with 0-1. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Tierps comes from Tierp which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tierp does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Hille IF, Hagaströms SK, Valbo FF and Gävle GIK/FK).
