Viggbyholms IK FF

Viggbyholms IK FF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Viggbyholms IK FF, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Viggbyholms IK FF could be found in Group 21 together with Uppåkra IF, BK Häcken and KA. Viggbyholms IK FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Sundsvalls DFF with 4-6. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Sundsvalls DFF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Viggbyholms IK FF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 Play off A, but lost it against Roanoke Star with 1-3. Viggbyholms comes from Täby which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Täby does also provide 54 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Alsike IF, IFK Lidingö FK, Danderyds SK, Tyresö FF, Håbo FF, IFK Österåker, Gustavsbergs IF, Boo FF, IFK Haninge and Älvsjö AIK FF).
