Åhus Horna BK

Åhus Horna BK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åhus Horna BK, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Åhus Horna BK could be found in Group 35 together with Vikingstad SK, Vänersborgs FK and Stjarnan 1. Åhus Horna BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Alnö IF with 2-4. In the Final, DJK Arminia Eilendorf won over Helium FA and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Åhus Horna comes from Åhus which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Vinslövs IF, Åhus IF, Kristianstad FC, Sölvesborgs GIF and Kristianstads DFF).
