Syrianska Eskilstuna IF

Syrianska Eskilstuna IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Syrianska Eskilstuna IF, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Syrianska Eskilstuna IF could be found in Group 12 together with F.C. Beirut, ED Moratalaz, Torslanda IK 1 and Chico Sporting Club. Syrianska Eskilstuna IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ibero Sport Mexico FC with 1-2. In the Final, Phoenix Football Club won over Beirut FAC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Syrianska Eskilstuna comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
