IK Wormo

IK Wormo was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to IK Wormo, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof IK Wormo could be found in Group 30 together with ASLJ FC, FO Valesia 1 and Jönköpings Södra IF Grön. IK Wormo continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Chadwick International with 1-2. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Wormo comes from Landskrona which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Landskrona does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Hittarps IK, Borstahusens BK, Staffanstorps United, Kulladals FF, FC Staffanstorp, Helsingborgs IF, IF Lödde, Hellerup IK, Fortuna FF and Eslövs BK).
