Kälvesta IoF

Kälvesta IoF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Kälvesta IoF, 26 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Kälvesta IoF could be found in Group 6 together with Åsebro Brålanda IF, KFV Segeberg 2 and Askims IK. Kälvesta IoF made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Djurgårdens IF with 0-2. Thereby Kälvesta IoF finished second in G12 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2019. Kälvesta IoF comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 53 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Danderyds SK, Tyresö FF, Håbo FF, IFK Österåker, Gustavsbergs IF, Boo FF, IFK Haninge, Älvsjö AIK FF and BK Sport Mix).
