CDA Slammers FC South Bay

CDA Slammers FC South Bay was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to CDA Slammers FC South Bay, 53 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof CDA Slammers FC South Bay could be found in Group 9 together with Uppåkra IF, Sävedalens IF, Stjarnan and Alviks IK. CDA Slammers FC South Bay continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against NCE with 1-6. In the Final, NCE won over SKF Canada and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. CDA Slammers FC South Bay comes from Torrance which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Torrance does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Autobahn Soccer Club, LA Breakers, SLA United FC, Wizard SC and Global Premier Soccer).
