Våmbs IF

Våmbs IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Våmbs IF, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Våmbs IF could be found in Group 16 together with KA, Lake Norman and Västerås BK30. Våmbs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Forsby FF with 1-4. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Våmbs comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Skövde KIK, Tidaholms GIF, IFK Skövde, IFK Skövde FK, Skultorps IF, Falköpings KIK, IFK Tidaholm, Skövde AIK and IFK Falköping FF).
