Assi IF

Assi IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Assi IF, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Assi IF could be found in Group 18 together with BK Häcken, Rush Soccer USA and Forsby FF. Assi IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Västerås BK30 with 1-5. In the Final, Lerums IS won over Viborg Q and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Assi comes from Kalix which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
