Sandvikens IF

Sandvikens IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Sandvikens IF, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Sandvikens IF could be found in Group 37 together with Beirut FAC, KFV Segeberg and Lillestrøm SK 2. Sandvikens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Saltsjöbadens IF with 7-8. In the Final, Phoenix Football Club won over Beirut FAC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Sandvikens comes from Sandviken which lies approximately 420 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sandviken does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Hille IF, Hagaströms SK, Hofors AIF, Valbo FF, Sandvikens AIK, Högbo AIK and Gävle GIK/FK).
