Landvetter IF

Landvetter IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Landvetter IF, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Landvetter IF could be found in Group 15 together with KFUM - Oslo, Hofors AIF and Råstorp/Timsfors IF. Landvetter IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HGH Halmstad with 0-3. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Landvetter comes from Landvetter which lies approximately 17 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Landvetter does also provide 87 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK and Kärra Dragons).
