Colegio São João de Brito

Colegio São João de Brito was one of five clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Colegio São João de Brito, 171 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Colegio São João de Brito could be found in Group 22 together with Stryn TIL, Fässbergs IF and Match Fit Academy. Colegio São João de Brito continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sjömarken/Sandareds IF with 7-8. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over SKF Latvia and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Colegio São João de Brito comes from Lisboa which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lisboa does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (AF Alcoitão and GD Estoril Praia).
