Ås IF

Ås IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Ås IF, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Ås IF could be found in Group 21 together with Nyköpings BIS, Medkila IL and BV Werther. Ås IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SG Borken e.V. with 2-4. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Ås comes from Ås which lies approximately 630 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ås does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Östersunds FK, IFK Östersund and Ope IF).
