Stellenzicht S.S Falcons

Stellenzicht S.S Falcons was one of 11 clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Stellenzicht S.S Falcons, 58 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Stellenzicht S.S Falcons could be found in Group 9 together with Alingsås KIK, Hjulsbro IK and Sävedalens IF. Stellenzicht S.S Falcons continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ope IF with 0-11. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Ope IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Stellenzicht S.S Falcons comes from Stellenbosch which lies approximately 10000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stellenbosch does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (The Kusasa Stars, Project Playground FC, Tramway FC and Lifezone Cape Town).
