FC Norrsken

FC Norrsken was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to FC Norrsken, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof FC Norrsken could be found in Group 13 together with Gamla Upsala SK, Encinitas Express and Nässjö FF 1. FC Norrsken continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Norrala IF with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Sundsvalls DFF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. FC Norrsken also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/32 Final in G14 Play off A, but lost it against SK Haugar with 0-2. FC Norrsken comes from Piteå which lies approximately 990 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: PIF/MSSK, Sunderby SK, Bergnäsets AIK, Alviks IK, Lira BK, FC Luleå/IFK Luleå, Storfors AIK, IBFF, Piteå IF and Gammelstads IF).
