Sunderby SK

Sunderby SK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Sunderby SK, 94 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Sunderby SK could be found in Group 23 together with KIF Örebro DFF, JyPK05 yj and IFK Nyköping. Sunderby SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Alsike IF with 1-2. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over Rynninge IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Sunderby SK comes from Södra Sunderbyn which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Södra Sunderbyn does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Bergnäsets AIK, Alviks IK, Lira BK, Hedens IF, FC Luleå/IFK Luleå, Gammelstads IF, Rutviks SK, FC Norrsken and IFK Luleå).
