Skillingaryds IS

Skillingaryds IS was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Skillingaryds IS, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Skillingaryds IS could be found in Group 44 together with Noisy Le Grand Football Club, IFK Åmål and Stångebro United 1. Skillingaryds IS continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lyn Fotball with 0-5. In the Final, Stjarnan 1 won over IFK Haninge and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Skillingaryds IS comes from Skillingaryd which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skillingaryd does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Gislaveds IS and IFK Värnamo).
