Stugsunds IK

Stugsunds IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Stugsunds IK, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Stugsunds IK could be found in Group 12 together with SV Rugenbergen, IK Zenith and Floby/Grolanda IF. Stugsunds IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FC Preußen Espelkamp with 1-5. In the Final, Stjarnan 1 won over IFK Haninge and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Stugsunds comes from Söderhamn which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Söderhamn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Bollnäs GIF and Norrala IF).
