Bergnäsets AIK

Bergnäsets AIK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Bergnäsets AIK, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Bergnäsets AIK could be found in Group 26 together with KFV Segeberg, Jitex Mölndal BK 1 and Tyresö FF. Bergnäsets AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IBFF with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Sundsvalls DFF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Bergnäsets AIK comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Sunderby SK, Alviks IK, Lira BK, Hedens IF, FC Luleå/IFK Luleå, Gammelstads IF, Rutviks SK, FC Norrsken and IFK Luleå).
