Munka-Ljungby IF

Munka-Ljungby IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Munka-Ljungby IF, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Munka-Ljungby IF could be found in Group 37 together with Elite Football FC, Intercups MX and Älvsborg FF 1. Munka-Ljungby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Hasslövs IS/Skottorp with 1-3. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Munka-Ljungby comes from Munka-Ljungby which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Munka-Ljungby does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Hittarps IK, Helsingborgs IF, Fortuna FF, Västra Karups iF, Förslövs IF, Bjäre United, Råå IF, Eskilsminne IF, Helsingborg City FC and Vejby IF).
