Unik FK

Unik FK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Unik FK, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Unik FK could be found in Group 1 together with Tranås FF, Gimonäs Umeå IF and Arna-Bjørnar. Unik FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK with 0-5. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Unik FK comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Alsike IF, Bälinge IF, Håbo FF, Fanna BK, Upsala IF, Gamla Upsala SK, Vaksala SK, Rasbo IK, IK Sirius FK and Dalkurd FF).
