Åsebro Brålanda IF

Åsebro Brålanda IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Åsebro Brålanda IF, 26 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Åsebro Brålanda IF could be found in Group 6 together with KFV Segeberg 2, Kälvesta IoF and Askims IK. Åsebro Brålanda IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF 1 with 0-2. In the Final, Djurgårdens IF won over Kälvesta IoF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Åsebro Brålanda comes from Mellerud which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mellerud does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Åsebro IF and Melleruds IF).
