Golden Hills SA

Golden Hills SA was one of five clubs from Ghana that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Golden Hills SA, 162 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Golden Hills SA could be found in Group 6 together with Academie De Foot Djerba, Saltsjöbadens IF 2 and Näsets SK 2. Golden Hills SA continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Näsets SK 1 with 1-5. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Golden Hills SA comes from Accra which lies approximately 5900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Accra does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Right to Dream, Greengen FC and Legon Hill SA).
