Västra Karups iF

Västra Karups iF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Västra Karups iF, 94 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Västra Karups iF could be found in Group 21 together with Adolfsbergs IK, Kiruna FF and Trosvik IF. Västra Karups iF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Nyköping with 0-2. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over Rynninge IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Västra Karups comes from Västra Karup which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västra Karup does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Hittarps IK, Munka-Ljungby IF, BK Astrio, Förslövs IF, Bjäre United, Halmstads BK, Vejby IF, Hasslövs IS/Skottorp, HGH Halmstad and IS Halmia).
