Island Fire FA

Island Fire FA was one of five clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Island Fire FA, 173 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Island Fire FA could be found in Group 5 together with CD Inter Vista Alegre, IFK Haninge U and Kinna IF. Island Fire FA continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SKF Lithuania with 0-1. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over CD Inter Vista Alegre and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Island Fire FA comes from Victoria which lies approximately 7500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
