Åsebro IF

Åsebro IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åsebro IF, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Åsebro IF could be found in Group 36 together with Uppåkra IF, SKF Bulgaria and Trosa-Vagnhärad SK. Åsebro IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Noisy Le Grand Football Club with 0-4. In the Final, DJK Arminia Eilendorf won over Helium FA and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Åsebro comes from Mellerud which lies approximately 100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mellerud does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Vänersborgs FK, Åsebro Brålanda IF, IK Gauthiod, Halvorstorps IS and Melleruds IF).
