Gamla Upsala SK

Gamla Upsala SK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Gamla Upsala SK, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Gamla Upsala SK could be found in Group 13 together with FC Norrsken, Encinitas Express and Nässjö FF 1. Gamla Upsala SK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sundsvalls DFF with 5-6. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Sundsvalls DFF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Gamla Upsala SK comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Alsike IF, Bälinge IF, Håbo FF, Upsala IF, Vaksala SK, Rasbo IK, IK Sirius FK, Unik FK, Dalkurd FF and Märsta IK).
